Golf Merit Badge Play Day

On May 13 afternoon, scouts who attended the April lesson can play for the merit badge. We welcome our experienced golfers or those who already have the golf merit badge to attend. Parents who are experienced golfers, who know the rules of golf and understand pace of play are needed to assist as part of a Scout foursome. Scouts will meet at the golf course to play 18 holes. This will be done by playing to consecutive rounds of 9. Both rounds are needed to complete the Golf Merit Badge. Each round will take between 90 minutes and 2 hours to play. Scouts MAY NOT arrive late or leave early. Proper golf attire is needed for all those playing or observing on the golf course. Cost is $20 per golfer. All Scouts MUST have their own set of clubs. Scouts may not share a set of clubs on the golf course. You may use your own clubs, borrow clubs or rent clubs. Club rentals are available for an additional $20 per participant. More details and signup in troop email.
